You don't need to do anything to look after coated parts, no oil or cleaning. It's still good practice to clean your bore and chamber after use as they will be the only parts that will rust.
Generally we like to get work back to our customers in under a week.
If we have to order a colour in that we don't have in stock it can take up to 10 days for the paint to arrive, in those cases a job can take up to 3 weeks.
Unless requested for us to do, you will need to Torque your bases, adjust your scope to fit your eye relief etc and Torque your rings. Run a dry patch or Bore Snake through the barrel to remove the oil and Torque your Action Screws.
We can do all of this for you if requested but we are aware that a lot of our customers like to do this themselves.
Your Firearm will be stripped down, Cleaned, Degreased (extra dirty parts will be put through an Ultrasonic Cleaner), Pre-Baked and Gassed out before Sandblasting. Cerakote is applied and then everything is put back in the oven to cure.
Once everything has cooled, it will be put back together, greased and oiled in the appropriate areas, a patch put down the barrel with Bore-Tech and then function tested before being boxed up and sent back to your local sporting shop.
H-Series and Elite Series are very similar, the main differences are, Elite Series is slightly thinner, more chemical resistant and slightly harder. In terms of the look, Elite Series comes in a semi/standard Gloss and there are 17 colours to choose from.
H-Series comes as a standard matte colour but can be adjusted to a full matte or a semi gloss by adding more or less hardener and has 150+ colours to choose from.
Give your local sporting shop a call and ask if they can send your firearm. Box it up or put it in a hard case, make sure it's secure and drop it into the shop.
Send the complete firearm if possible so it can be checked for proper function before and after coating. If you have a suppressor or muzzle brake, make sure to send that as well so the fitment and indexing can be checked.
If your Local to Hawkes Bay, you can drop your firearm or parts off in person, have a look at the colours and chat about what you want done.
If your out of town you have 2 options, make the drive and drop it off or go through the dealers network.
